Victor Oppong is a UEFA certified coach, having obtained his UEFA licenses through the German Football Federation.

Coach Victor is a former Canadian international who made a career playing in Germany. He spent 15 years in Germany as a player and a coach; featuring for German-clubs FC Saarbrucken, Waldhof Mannheim, Sandhausen and Vfr Mannheim.

Victor began his coaching career with TSV Amicitia Vierheim and Ziegelhausen before leaving to join Ottawa Fury of the USL championship. Prior to hanging up his boots, Victor Oppong was a U20 and U23 Canadian International, while also captaining the U20 squad and playing in the U20 World Cup in 2001.

Victor remains very committed and dedicated to his work and bring loads of experience as both a player and coach.

Co-Founder

I am a former pro soccer player who played in Finland, Thailand, Singapore, and the USA. I represented Canada's men's national team from youth to mens. I received a full scholarship to play in the NCAA from 2005 - 2009 and won a Big East Championship, Rookie of the Year, and was an All Conference Player. As well, I was an academy coach for all the teams that I played for.

Having expanded my soccer career to include coaching, player and club development, I am the Director of Development (i.e., Technical Director) for Sting FC in Edmonton, Assistant Coach for the men’s soccer team at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Assistant Coach for Edmonton Whitecaps Rex, and was Head Coach for Edmonton in Alberta Summer Games 2023.
